The latest from Pete, Josanna and Briona Justine!
Pickin' and Grinnin'
Still here in the snowy, muddy mountains of southern Colorado! This has been a crazy year for the Justine clan out here - wow! We started out the year juggling our still young parenting skills with both Josanna and I taking a school here at our YWAM base, while continuing with our normal responsibilities around here as well. And thankfully we all survived (some days more gracefully than others)! Josanna and I were taking a school called The Morph - a three month leadership training school, which rocked! We covered topics such as conflict resolution, effective decision making, identity, leadership, church planting... We expected a much more intense focus on study and results - but from day one, it was a time of drawing close to Christ. We had some very intense days in class, but it wasn't about how to just be a great leader, but how to be more like Christ.
Baby's first Missions Trip!
Last November we spent the Thanksgiving week serving with our base and several churches in Juarez, Mexico. We spent a week there, and helped build a medical clinic in a small community outside the city of Juarez, as well as building a few homes for families, and fixing up (re-roofing, re-painting) a few other homes as well! Here's a cute picture of Briona with a few of the local kids - she traveled well, and adjusted to the new faces and places without a problem! You can see a bit of the medical clinic we were building behind them.
Thank you for your prayers and support in our work over the years! We could not have managed to serve in this capacity without the prayers and support of you all, and the Lord's provision - and for this season, His provision has been through the wonderful, generous hands of our friends and family! Thank you!
