"Lover and the Fool" is our first recording, featuring Peter and Josanna Justine, Cherie Miracle, Mike Brookshire and Darrin Baird, as well as Rickie Simpkins on fiddle, Lamar Cornett on drums and Jon Justine on guitar. Recorded in 1999 in Middlesboro, Kentucky at Church House Studios. The songs from "Lover and the Fool" are all songs about life, many inspired by true stories and people. Unlike our other albums, this is not a "worship" album. These are songs we've sung in coffee shops, pubs, universities, festivals and churches across the US. We hope to record another album similar to this, as we've written quite a number of other songs from life, and have learned a thing or two about recording since this project.
