Be Not Afraid

How can I be afraid when I know that you are God?

How can I walk away from you?

How can I hang my head when you’ve given me your name?

How could I turn my face from you?

Blessed is the man who fears the Lord.

He will not be afraid. His heart is strong,

Trusting in the Lord. He will not be afraid.

I’ve lived through your promises, I’ve seen you do miracles

I will remember who you are. You have promised wealth to me;

You’ve promised to watch over me.

I lift up my eyes and praise you Lord.

God most high, you are true. You are the light

and I will put my trust in you. I will not be shaken,

I know you will keep me From this day forth and forever more.
